Laurence Jobin, ftc’s new consultant starting in October

We are delighted to announce that Laurence Jobin will be joining our consulting team from mid-October.

Currently Head of the Information and Communications Office of the State of Vaud, a position she has held since 2022, Laurence Jobin previously served as Head of Communications for a government department from 2013 onwards (the Department of the Interior, subsequently the Department of Institutions and Security, and then the Department of the Environment and Security). She brings extensive knowledge of public communication and public affairs, as well as a strong understanding of the media landscape. As a journalist, following her training at RJB and her subsequent career at RTS from 2001 to 2013, she covered political affairs at municipal, cantonal and federal levels.

Originally from the Jura region and a long-standing resident of the canton of Vaud, with numerous professional contacts in Valais, Laurence Jobin will support ftc communication’s clients throughout French-speaking Switzerland as a consultant, with a primary focus on strategic communications advice, strategic writing, media relations and counsel in sensitive situations.

Laurence Jobin holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Lausanne (1998), a certificate from the Centre romand de formation des journalistes (2001), and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in “Public Marketing and Communication” from IDHEAP (2015).
