The first edition of the Société Romande de Relations Publiques (SRRP) Award recognized ftc communication in the “Information” category. This distinction highlights the relevance of our support in the merger project of the Vallée de Joux municipalities, a complex institutional undertaking.

A major project

From 2021 until its approval by popular vote on September 22, 2024, ftc supported the municipalities of L’Abbaye, Le Chenit, and Le Lieu throughout this long-term process, working closely with local authorities. As of January 1, 2027, La Vallée de Joux will become the largest municipality in the canton of Vaud, covering 16,361 hectares and home to approximately 7,000 residents.

The assignment was initiated during the feasibility study stage by our former colleague Pierre-Alain Rattaz, who had already been involved in municipal mergers and later retired, and was then taken over by Frédéric Burnand. ftc’s role was to inform, raise awareness, and engage stakeholders throughout the process, demonstrating the strategic value of the communication efforts led by our agency.

Recognition from the industry

As an active member of the SRRP, ftc is proud to contribute to the recognition of public relations and to have participated in the inaugural edition of this award. The event highlighted exemplary projects and best practices within the sector.

We thank the jury and the SRRP for this recognition and congratulate the other winners for the quality of their projects.
