Since 2023, ftc communication SA has been advising and supporting the agency Berta Kommunikationsplan AG<\/a> (“Bertakomm”) in French-speaking Switzerland on national communication projects. For professional organisations and cross-party committees, the two agencies have collaborated successfully on federal referendum campaigns in 2024, as well as in 2026).<\/p>\n

Building on these successful experiences, the two agencies have decided to continue developing synergies at national level on a more regular basis, mainly in the fields of communication consulting and public affairs.<\/p>\n

Since 15 September 2026, Romain Clivaz<\/a>, the new Head of French-speaking Switzerland for Bertakomm, has joined ftc’s offices in Lausanne. In addition to leading mandates on the Bertakomm side, he is also joining ftc’s consulting team as a consulting partner. He will be particularly responsible for supporting ftc’s French-speaking clients with their federal-level issues.<\/p>\n

Romain Clivaz has long experience at the interface between media, politics and public administration, and a strong network throughout Switzerland. For four years, he was a personal advisor to a Federal Councillor, first in the Federal Department of Justice and Police, then in the Federal Department of Finance. As a political journalist, he worked in Bern and Brussels for the main French-speaking Swiss newsrooms: RTS, 24 Heures\/Tribune de Gen\u00e8ve and Le Temps. At Le Temps, he launched the political podcast “Sous la coupole” (“Under the Dome”). Romain Clivaz holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Geneva.<\/p>\n

“For our clients in French-speaking Switzerland, thanks to Romain Clivaz, we can now offer a strengthened liaison capacity to engage with national decision-makers, as well as, of course, additional consulting capacity across the Romandy region,” say Fran\u00e7ois Huguenet and M\u00e9lina Vigliotta, co-directors of the ftc agency. Roland Siegenthaler, CEO of Bertakomm, for his part welcomes this new stage in a partnership that enables his agency to guarantee lasting, high-level capacity to act across the country.<\/p>\n

Based in Zurich, with additional offices in Bern, Basel, St. Gallen, Mendrisio and now Lausanne, Bertakomm has around forty employees. Also a member of the association Leading Swiss Agencies (LSA), the agency offers services comparable to those of ftc communication in German-speaking Switzerland and nationwide, in the areas of strategy, consulting, public affairs and crisis communication. The agency also has a dedicated multimedia and design team.<\/p>\n
